PDR Guest host Robby Caban interviews labor activist Evette Avery is about organizing workers, the vote, and more.
Evette Avery corporate abuse and organizing workers
Politics Done Right (PDR) welcomed real estate expert and activist journalist Robby Caban to interview Evette Avery about her ordeal at Delta and UPS. Evette did not disappoint.
Evette first discussed the ordeal she went through when she was fired by Delta on false pretenses. We discussed it as well in a previous interview with PDR.
Evette has not sat still. She continues to organize. More importantly, she engages politically to give workers a voice. She is actively engaged in holding politicians in Atlanta’s political races accountable. More importantly, she is spreading the can-do message throughout the country by making herself available to every platform to get the message out.
Who is Evette?
Evette Avery is a working mother providing for her family. She has been a Teamster Union Steward at UPS, as well as, an activist for workers’ rights for several years. She is currently working on the most extensive and effective organizing campaign with the IAM to getting union representation for Delta ramp and cargo workers.
Please listen to the entire interview. There is much to learn from it.
