Dr. Alauna joins us to discuss the stresses of living under the COVID-19 pandemic and how to cope with them. Her empathy enables her to connect better than most.

While the good doctor came was scheduled for a 10-minute segment I thought she had so much to offer the audience that went 20 minutes over. It was just useful soothing information that went beyond what we do at Politics Done Right. It was a needed diversion.

Dr. Alauna is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex psychological trauma and related mental health conditions. She is a former assistant professor, in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, at Baylor College of Medicine/Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center. She has diagnosed and provided intensive trauma treatment for US Military veterans for the last 12 years.
