Tim Black, the host of his equally named program, visited with Politics Done Right to discuss Progressives. We’ve spoken with Black about independent media and many other topics before.
Black did not disappoint. He made it clear that he is not your ivory tower Progressive. He does not believe in walking in lock step in synchronization with the movement. He breaks with them on guns. He points out that in his community, the police usually show up after the fact. Of course, he believes in background checks and other safety criteria.
Tim Black acknowledged a serious problem in the Progressive space. There is a very specific value set that they stand for. More importantly, they do not look kindly to anyone who deviates from the norm. Independent bloggers/vloggers/journalists like Tim and yours truly do not succumb to that restriction.
The only way that we can challenge the status quo is with the growth of independent media. Staying in touch with other independent media ensures that the necessary connections are established.
