Teachers in the aggregate are a Democratic constituency. But they can become an army, millions strong to become the catalyst for victory. If Democrats commit to teachers as never before, if they assure them they are not just a voting constituency but one that Democrats will support full-throated by supporting pay and benefits commensurate with their worth.
This is what we must fight now.

EgbertoWillies.com: This is what needs to be done going forward against politicians who continue to keep our citizens and specifically our children. We must be honest. Where there is robust gun control, there are orders of magnitude less gun violence. The numbers do not lie. Using the 2nd Amendment as an excuse for not passing strict gun control laws is just that, an excuse. It is another way to promote the NRA agenda which is nothing more than the advertising and enforcement division of the National Rifle Association. Everytown for Gun Safety wrote a scorching civilly attacking Texas Governor Greg Abbott for his inaction and the inactions of politicians on the gun violence issue. The letter is one that could be sent almost verbatim to every Right Wing politician and self-serving politician who does not support strict gun control. Some pushback when we mention gun control. They say the phrase creates a backlash. With America becoming a killing field by gun-wielding evil mostly men.
