Today I have a special message for Progressives. Are we really to ascend as the preeminent voice of the masses? It is clear that in principle they are all with us. They know that it is our policies that will save us all from an extractive and corrosive plutocracy that is progressively leaving the masses destitute even as they work more. Those whose lives are okay right now don’t get it. You see America has become a country where people suffer in silence. Suffering, not doing well is okay. So we all live in our fictional bubbles where we create our false images on social media as we live vicariously through the lives of others.
Imagine if we could break through and really let every American know we are all in the same sinking boat. Some may be on higher decks but the ship is albeit sinking and we all will eventually end up under water. Progressives must support the structures and candidates to mitigate that eventuality.
