The news media is panicking as editorials excoriate Trump
You can also find previous episodes on YouTube here.
We are going to have a great show. We will be talking about Donald Trump as a news media creation. We will also discuss the panic occurring within the halls of the traditional mainstream media as the possibility of a ‘President Donald Trump’ is envisioned. You see, they understand that having quasi-fascist in the White House will put their profession at risk. Never have I seen such a concerted effort to derail someone that was allowed to reign for so long.
Today my guest is Don Freeman. As you know my motto is ‘Political involvement should be a requirement for citizenship.’ I believe we must do much more than talking about problems. We must be a part of the solution. Whether it is direct engagement or facilitating engagement, we must engage to make our society a better place. Last week we had to citizens who engaged nationally to be a party of the foreign policy debate. Today Don will talk about local engagement to make a difference directly in his city.
But before I get into the show, I need to thank several donors to KPFT’s Politics Done Right.
Thank you donors,
- John Cotter, returning member, Kingwood TX, $60
