Netroots Nation 2016 atoned to Black Lives Matter for 2015?

Last week I went to the Netroots Nation 2016 Convention in St. Louis, Missouri. It was a great convention where I was unsure of the outcome. You see we are in disruptive times. Last year the conference was disrupted by Black Lives Matter as they held Martin O’Malley and Senator Bernie Sanders to task. The response from the attendees of this convention, the largest conglomeration of liberal bloggers and activists in the country was subpar at best.

This Netroots Nation Convention was very different. The convention is starting to take up issues of racial justice and social justice in a more intentional manner. It is a change of direction that is needed especially from an organization that purports to be the largest and most liberal group in the country.

Of course, we will discuss the Republican National Convention and what it means.
