Paul Fleming, a healthcare activist, and PDR Posse member, retells his multiple sclerosis (MS) story. Even as a person with means, he was forced to sell his house at one time just to survive. This is a failed healthcare system.
Paul Fleming updates on MS and the healthcare system.
Paul Fleming visited us to give us an update on the state of his multiple sclerosis. In short, he is doing fine now. He has a wonderful family that adjusted their lifestyle in several instances when he was unable to work as much as necessary to keep his standard of living.
Prices for the drugs he uses to control his MS are astronomical, as he stated in the interview. What is shameful in our inhumane healthcare system is that much of the genesis of these drugs is with universities and NIH grants.
Fleming is a bastion of perseverance that is an example to all of us. Please watch the entire interview.
