Natalie Carter knows that it is not enough to wish for necessary changes to enhance education. One who has the wherewithal must make themselves available to serve to instantiate solutions.
Natalie Carter did not disappoint.
When I met Natalie Carter at an event and read her website, it was immediately obvious why I took an interest in her candidacy for the Humble Independent District School Board position 7. Her moniker is “From Citizen to Candidate.” And that is what it is all about.
Natalie has a bachelor’s and masters in the nursing field. She is a wife, a mother, and involved in her community. She decided to take off from her professional career to focus on family and community. Those who follow Politics Done Right know that we believe that governance is really we-the-people and not the caricature too many attempts to attribute to our government.
“In the current political environment, candidates often rely on ideals- based on political affiliation, religious beliefs, environment, etc.-instead of providing ideas to solve the problems we face as a community,” said Ms. Carter. “Our schools face the same obstacles, no matter where you are or where you come from; that is why it is so important that we expect more from our candidates at every level. The real value of a candidate is their ability to turn their words into actions.”
Listen to the entire interview. Natalie Carter in what a Humble ISD candidate should be.
