- An award-winning author, summa cum laude graduate of Harvard University, former Democratic candidate for Congress, and former talk radio host.
- Has weekly op/ed pieces that have appeared in newspapers around the country.
- Has focused his attention on the current crisis in America since 2004, which he sees as perhaps the most profound to face this nation in its history. Though this crisis manifests itself in the political sphere, he sees it as also involving the deterioration of the moral and spiritual dimensions, which have a big impact on the balance of power between constructive and destructive forces in society.
