The audience changed today’s program with a very active chat. This warranted an open forum with my responses on many issues on race, hate, redlining, Social Security, and much more. It was a laissez-faire program today.

Just as I was supposed to get into the core of the program, a listener of our program changed the subject. He took exception to my claim that a Right Wing mailer was hateful. When I pushed back, the other Conservatives in the room got a bit perturbed. So I decided to give them a clinic.
Some in the room claimed that Progressives screwed up the great country we were 60 years ago. I reminded them that something as “universal” as Social Security was created with implicit bias against people of color. I discussed the loss of future increased capitalization of homes for the uplifting of families’ wealth of people of color by means of redlining.
Topic after topic, it was made clear that one should become better with time. For many, the past was not the past many yearn to return to these days.
I would urge my Conservative listeners to get Senator Bernie Sanders’s new book titled “It’s OK to Be Angry About Capitalism.” And if you like the topics we talk about frequently on Politics Done Right, my book “How to make America Utopia: Take away the economy from those who rigged it” provides a good read as well.
