Investigative Journalist Greg Palast continues to set the alarm on the attempt at voter suppression in Georgia. He provides this timely report.
Greg Palast reports from Georgia.
Palast points out all the trickery that the Georgia Republican party created to suppress the vote in novel fashions. He pointed out special rules for drop boxes in limited areas that disproportionately affect people of color.
Palast took the opportunity to promote his new documentary “Vigilante: Georgia Voter Suppression Hitman.”
Palast and his investigations team bust the most brazen, racist attack on voting rights yet — engineered by Georgia’s Brian Kemp to ensure victory in his rematch with Stacey Abrams. You’ll meet Kemp’s army of vote vigilantes who have challenged over a quarter million voters.
Voting is our most sacred right. We must use these examples as reasons to kick vote-suppressing politicians out of office. What Kemp did in Georgia will ultimately fail. One does not tell a people they cannot vote after exercising that right for decades. One should never stand for those inequities in any part of the country.
Greg Palast is providing a service to our Democracy. Be sure to watch the documentary in its entirety. It is definitely worth it.
