Former State Representative Gina Calanni is on a mission to educate Texans about the lies told about Democratic judges and more. She wants everyone to make an educated vote.

Republicans have been hyperventilating about crime. They have tried to blame Democrats for the perception that crime is on the increase. In Houston and other areas, they would have you believe that Democratic judges are releasing criminals on the streets. Of course, they are lying. The reality is Republicans are responsible for flooding communities with guns. As well, their policies are punitive and do not provide assistance to prevent the ills of poverty. As such, crime is primarily caused by Republican policies.
Chris Hayes was masterful in a piece he did that made it clear that Republicans ought to look in the mirror as they try to pin the crime rate on Democrats. It was very effective.

We also discussed the mainstream media being on the take based on how they allow Republicans to use our airwaves to lie to the American people. That is more dangerous than the individual gun because citizens vote for candidates that create policies detrimental to our health, safety, and financial well-being.
