John Paul Mejia said that the Sunrise Movement is a movement to stop climate change and create millions of good-paying jobs in the process. Sunrise unites to make climate change an urgent priority all across America. They intend to end the corrupting influence of fossil fuel executives. They elect leaders who stand up for the health and well-being of all.
Mejia said that the youth movement is what it will take to move the climate debate forward. The 12 principles of the movement say it all.
