Before the interview, Brett Pransky discussed much of what ails the working and middle-class. That we came to the same conclusion about the causes of the problem was not surprising. We have a system that depends on keeping the people at each other’s throats at all costs. If the working class and the middle class are fighting with each other, then they are unable to concurrently fight the actual oppressor, the corporate structure that is robbing them day in and out.
Pransky notes that programs like his must have as broad an exposure as possible to have the necessary impact. In that light, he is the team player that ensures the Rick Smith show is in every media domain possible. But that is not all. He realizes that like the Right saturates the airwaves with their fallacies, it is imperative that Progressives learn from their technique but with the truth.
