Benjamin Hernandez is the Progressive hero who cornered Ted Cruz at a restaurant in Houston at the NRA Convention. He is the founder of Human Age Digital & co-founder of Vote Simple.

I asked Hernandez how he got to pull off getting Ted Cruz to engage so gullibly.

“It had to have been faith,” a humble Hernandez said. “Because earlier this week Beto, when he confronted Governor Abbott, I wrote something on Twitter — ‘This is how we have to confront these hypocrites.”

Benjamin continued by stating that Daniel J. Cohen, the President/Co-Founder of Indivisible Houston, called him up for an action to call out Cruz using cut-outs of Ted Cruz at the convention. They made clear that inaction and evil acts by Ted Cruz and his minions are directly responsible for the deaths of the kids and teachers in Uvalde. Benjamin also aided in live streaming the protests at the NRA convention.

Benjamin may have thought that his NRA Convention actions were over. They were not. He and his wife went to the sushi eatery, and Ted Cruz and his entourage entered out of the blue. Benjamin approached the table and requested a picture in a rather sly manner that led the narcissist Ted Cruz into his performance act.

Unlike most, Benjamin did not allow the Senator to bloviate. His method prevented Cruz from gaining traction with his canned arguments. The video has since gone viral. The entire interview is worth listening to for clarity.
