- We must defeat this false Right-Wing messaging. They know if Americans are enlightened, it is over!: Those of you who have been a part of the Politics Done Right family know that one of my most important tenets is keeping the conversation open on all sides. One of our supporters sent a link to a video by Canadian Right-Winger pseudo-intellectual Jordan Peterson discussing post-modernism and its supposed connection to Marxism titled “Political Correctness and Postmodernism”. And of course, the intent is to scare people away from following the poor and middle-class economic policies; classic Right-Wing orthodoxy. Note that when he talks postmodernism he means Left-Wing or Progressives.
- Elon Musk says we should completely rethink government on Mars to get rid of special interests and ‘coercion of politicians’: Elon Musk says human settlement on Mars could be a second chance to build a better government. The billionaire Tesla and SpaceX CEO told podcaster Lex Fridman in a wide-ranging, 2.5-hour interview that putting humans on Mars is an opportunity to “rethink the whole nature of government, as was done in the creation of the United States” in the 18th century.
- ‘Madness’: Oklahoma Bill Would Empower Parents to Remove Books From School Libraries: Under Senate Bill 1142, introduced earlier this month by state Sen. Rob Standridge, just one parent would have to object to a book that includes discussion of “sexual perversion, sex-based classifications, sexual identity, or gender identity” and other related themes in order to begin the process of removal.
- Why We Must Vaccinate the World: Never in the history of humankind has the blindingly obvious been ignored with such obviously high risk. Never have the cautious and persistent warnings of medical and biological scientists been so spectacularly and swiftly vindicated.
