LIVE on KPFT 90.1 FM: Former activist CNN iReporter is now councilman Cliff Olney. Christie’s neglect. Joy-Ann Reid & Joe Biden on economic angst.
From Activist to politician
- Nicolle Wallace slams Christie for his book giving Fox News a pass for lies & conspiracy theories: Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie likely did not expect the grilling he got from Nicolle Wallace. She started her necessary attack relatively quickly.
- Joy-Ann Reid agrees Quinnipiac Poll is incoherent and gives sound mitigating advice to Democrats: Joy-Ann Reid hits the nail on the head. The Quinnipiac poll shows an America that has allowed the mainstream media to spin them. It was confirming listening to Joy-Ann Reid as she discussed the latest Quinnipiac poll. I pointed out in a recent blog post that the poll showed a confused populace.
- Biden slams profiteering oil company corporate thugs using their hostage-taking to push green energy: President Joe Biden, true-to-form, artfully called out oil companies. He used their legal theft to promote the need for green energy. Some will see the interview and consider it a relatively passive speech. Yes, it was rather passive, but ironically, it may touch the people who are not real Democrats that he lost.
- Cliff Olney, from political activist & CNN iReporter to city councilman of Watertown, New York: Cliff Olney is a good friend of mine and a former CNN iReport colleague. We used the CNN iReport platform to promote our activist messages on healthcare, taxes, and much more. Cliff was one of the most prolific iReporter. He knew he had to do something when his health insurance company canceled his policy after having a premature baby.
