- In his folksy manner, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg schooled Chuck Todd by putting supply chain discourse in the proper context. Pete Buttigieg did not allow Chuck Todd to go unanswered as he implied that the Biden administration had dropped the ball with supply chain problems. Buttigieg told the unfortunate truth. The private sector dropped the ball.
- Former Secretary of State, General Colin Powell, dies today of complications from COVID-19 even though fully vaccinated. That Colin Powell was fully vaccinated and still died from COVID complications should dissuade no one from taking the vaccine. Vaccination is about increasing your chances to fight off the disease. There will be a few breakthroughs, but in the aggregate, vaccination saves most of us.
