Almost half the states in the U.S. have seen a sudden uptick in Covid cases in the past week as vaccine hesitancy intensifies with almost 55% of Americans still not fully vaccinated. The Delta variant, considered twice as contagious as the 2020 strain, continues to keep health care workers on their toes as the federal government keeps pressing for more people to get vaccinated. Even Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell claimed yesterday he was puzzled by people who are opting not to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. The chaos around Covid 19 does not cease to die down. The latest to join the bandwagon is an unusually public spat between Pfizer, one of the makers of the coronavirus vaccine and federal health officials over whether booster shots will soon be needed.

“In all this uncertainty, what is certain and in our hands is to build a STRONG IMMUNE SYSTEM with proactive, preventive care,” says Dr. Andrew Myers, researcher and co-author of ‘Simplifying the COVID Puzzle: How Two Essential Vitamins Fortify the Immune System’ along with Dr. Grace McComsey, VP of Research and Associated Chief Science Officer at Vice President of Research and Associate Chief Scientific Officer at University Hospitals (U.H.) Health System in Cleveland, Ohio. Their just-released book, Simplifying the COVID Puzzle, outlines easy steps you should take NOW to protect yourself from COVID, no matter your age or current health status.

“Taking a couple of vitamins each day is the cheapest and best life insurance policy on the planet and one of the simplest ways to build a robust immune system, I’ll tell which ones and why” asserts Dr. Myers.

He points to a pair of studies, one overseen by his co-author Dr. McComsey, and another cited by Nutritional Outlook, focusing on the lesser-known Vitamin K2 (MK-7) as a crucial COVID 19 deterrent.
