I had a pleasant and informative conversation with Mr. Lonnie Jackson. Mr. Jackson made it clear that he is an active member of the community in every fashion. Please watch the entire interview. Jackson makes it clear why he believes he is the person for the job as he describes his positions.

Who is Lonnie Jackson

Lonnie Jackson has always been passionate about education and has spent his entire life pursuing this passion. He is a public servant, leader, educator, and community advocate. Lonnie has lived in Fall Creek since December 2003 and has volunteered on several committees. Committees he has served on in the Fall Creek communities include Safety, Pool, and Park. He obtained a Bachelor’s in Sociology and followed it up with a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and these degrees set the base for his career.

Lonnie Jackson is an incredible choice for position 4 of Humble ISD School Board because of his contributions to the Humble School District. He was a member of WCID when they agreed to make yearly donations to Fall Creek Elementary, Wood Creek Middle School, and Summer Creek High School. Lonnie Jackson knew he wanted to contribute to the community and has spent the last 22 years in education as a teacher, team leader, Special Education department chair, and campus administrator. He has focused his career on working in special education as a teacher and administrator. Not only is he certified by the Texas Education Agency as a Principal, but he is also certified by and has worked with the Harris County Department of Education Leadership Council. His specialty/focus areas are Special Education and the University Interscholastic League operations. Lonnie has continued to work closely with responding to interventions and 504 programs. He also has a history of advocating for parents and students in the Humble community and gave career guidance when necessary.
