Dr. Pastor is a Distinguished Professor of Sociology and American Studies & Ethnicity at the University of Southern California and director of USC’s Program for Environmental and Regional Equity and their Center for the Study of Immigrant Integration. He’s also serving on Governor Newsom’s taskforce for Covid-19 recovery, and wrestling with the racialized implication of economic recovery and impact every day.
