In these times where disruption of the electoral process is occurring and directed from the executive of our government, the president, it is imperative that we are all vigilant to protect our right to vote. Amelia Hartley-Woodruff did just that.

I received a message from her on messenger. Amelia has always been meticulous and complete in everything that she does. That is why her absentee ballot rejection was a shock

Advice your contacts to double check their mail in ballots. WTH is “administrative cancel”??? SMH

If caught early enough you can go to the elections office

I plan on going to Atlanta to deal with them.

I asked Amelia to recount her experience on Politics Done Right to illustrate that this is not an anomaly but frequent. She agreed.

Sadly, at her cost, Amelia is going to fly from Dallas to Atlanta to ensure her vote is counted. In other words, she will effectively pay a poll tax to vote. For those who could not afford to do this, they are left out of the franchise.

So let’s take her advice and double-check everything. Most importantly, ensure your signature matches your voter registration card.
