The President of Indivisible Houston visits with us once again to discusses the Walmartization of America. Daniel Cohen makes important points.
Daniel Cohen once again gets it.
Daniel Cohen visits Politics Done Right quite often. He is a millennial committed to a truly egalitarian society where economic justice, environmental justice, racial justice, gender justice, and all other injustices are solved. Cohen is not idealistic. He is intent on putting in the work that will bring change.
The night before the interview, Daniel and I had a chat. We were talking about the Walmartization of America. We talked about individuals boycotting Walmart or other bad operators is not near enough for the changes we need in the economic system.
An individual can decide to take a personal stance. But they should understand that in the grand scheme of thing what we need is systemic change, a change in law and economic design.
After talking for some time, I asked Daniel to be a guest on the show once again. The conversation merited a larger audience that could benefit from the insight. But more importantly, they could add their thoughts as well. This is how we will get a real change.
Listen to the entire interview. It is worth your time.
