But did Democrats and Progressives not over-perform in 2020? Yes they did.
But Palast was making a prescient point that one better understand. After-all, Hillary Clinton won the 2016 election by three million votes and still lost the Electoral College.
Palast wanted it well understood that as long as there is a party in control willing to manipulate the vote via voter suppression and many other devices, popular vote does not matter. Counted voted in the correct places do.
