The reality is centrism is a product sold by the plutocracy to give people the impression that they are not extreme. The thing is what is called extreme on the Left is what most people say they want. Poll after poll are consistent with this.

What I find exciting about the 2020 election cycle so far is that progressive groups are not taking their marching orders from the old guard. Millennials like Cohen are taking charge and activating their base.

Many know that the system has dealt them a bad hand and they are intent on righting the ship. They know they can’t expect those who refuse to acknowledge they were complicit in creating the framework that caused the problem to fix it. They are leading and managing allies strategically.

The Powell Memo was extremely effective in changing this country when the corporatocracy realized that the progressive movement was wising up the populace. They had the money and they accomplished their task effectively. Now it is time for this new generation to use new techniques to respectfully engage all to ensure that the current con is mitigated.
