We discuss the impact of the Trump shutdown on many Americans. In the process, we noted that the lack of unions may have made it more difficult to create an effective strike to force the hand of the government.
We later discussed Venezuela and the danger that we are facing with the stance Donald Trump is taking where he may wag the dog. That way he kills two birds with one stone. He gets some heat off his investigations and he keeps the vast Venezuelan resources out of the hands of a socialist government.
