Many believe that they can rest easy now that Donald Trump caved. That is not the case. In effect, he used this situation to prove his bonafides to his base. And you know what it worked. It was clear on the Right Wing sites that they were happy with him. Hell, even 55% of the Republican Party was in sync. Yes, many of RINOs came out against and a few Evangelicals attempted to save face. But most Evangelical leaders found their outward evil to direct their flock down the sewer.
