Today I want to continue our necessary dialogue on race. We need to be intentional if we are to make a change. It is my firm belief that progress is slow and sometimes we regress because we refuse to allow honest discourse where people can speak without fear. Many fear that their most inner thoughts will be used against them. It shouldn’t if we want real change in our mindsets. If we allow those thoughts out, we can correct them or change them where necessary.
