Many wondered if the Brexit vote in the UK would have any influence on the presidential election in the United States of America. I think that it will. Many people who simply want to make a protest vote, with the expectation that it would simply be that are likely to rethink their position. Others will be more pragmatic and choose country over party. Yet others will once again acquiesce to the best of two bad choices as they continue building a political revolution that will incorporate a real democracy. The 2016 election will be interesting.
